Awakening From The Matrix

What is the “matrix” ? Perhaps you have heard of the movie, maybe even experienced it yourself. Or you might be thinking of a machine-driven program. Truth is the matrix can fall deeper into that, since we were born we have been programming our brains with certain beliefs, thoughts and patterns but what we don’t realize is that most of the beliefs that have been engraved in our mind aren’t really our owns.

You see, we think they are our own because that’s what we grew up believing. That’s what our parents have told us, maybe uncles and cousins. But the truth is, those are beliefs of other people, we don’t necessarily believe those things but since the “majority” or “everyone” does it and believes it then it must be true right?

Well that isn’t necessary right, because what defines truth? You see, we need to wake up and see that we can make our own beliefs. We are told growing up that we have to do this and that, we have to go to school, get a degree, a job, and that will be our lives. Some grow up being told they are not smart enough, good enough, strong enough. But those are the beliefs of others, we need to break out of those thoughts and realize we can build our own programming, we can think and become something far greater than we thought possible.

We must awaken and I will show you the steps that can be done to see what truth is and see not everything has to be the way it is in our lives right now.

Self-Reflect

To start, we must reflect and ask ourselves, why do we do what we do? What is the motive for chasing after the degree, the job, the money. Is it because of someone? is it to prove someone wrong? Maybe it is because we think we need to be doing things that everyone else is doing. But the reality is, we have to do things because we choose to do it, not because someone else wants us to do it. Not to prove anyone anything, or to make those around us proud. That will come when we do what is actually fulfilling us and when we are doing more than we thought possible.

Whether you’re going to school, or trying to start a business maybe wanting to even quit a job. Those are the reflections that we need to grasp and utilize. Because our mind knows that there is so much more that can be done and we can be.

Self reflect, whether it is writing early mornings or late nights before going to bed. Maybe going for a walk and thinking what do we want out of our lives and want to leave behind while our time here. We must reflect daily, and we can unlock more of our brain while doing it.

Become Mindfulness

Once the self-reflecting is done, becoming mindful of what is around us and how we treat and move throughout the world will be the next step to canceling beliefs and escaping the so called “matrix”. The reason we can escape it, is because we will start becoming more aware of our own beliefs and why we think the way we do. We then can change our thoughts and be more mindful on what we say and do with our time .

The best way to become mindful is to meditate, or in other cases praying. Taking five to ten minutes out of our day to just sit and process everything that goes on in our head. We are so focused and distracted of what is around us that we forget that the person that we spend the most time with is our mind and thoughts. We talk to ourselves saying we are this and that, yet we don’t actually reflect and become mindful of why we are thinking that way.

Again being mindful and meditating, will help unlock and unless a power in our brain that we never thought possible. It will show us a new world of experiences, where we can be more and be the best version of ourselves.

Create Your Own Beliefs

Once we have become mindful of ourselves and surroundings, we can start seeing that we can build our own beliefs. Just because our parents believed one thing and our friends tell us another, doesn’t mean we have to believe it. We have the power and willingness to believe whatever we want. The most important belief that we can engrave in our mind is the belief in ourselves. That we can do anything and become anything in this world. If we start believing in ourselves then everyone else will start to believe in us.

When we have these believes on of our own, we can are able to see how the world has programmed our brain to believe things that aren’t true to ourselves. We tend to back away or push away people because they don’t fit in the beliefs that we have of becoming the best version of ourselves and wanting to do more for ourselves. Once we cut off the negativity and turn in into positivity we understand what life really is about.

Believe in yourself first, then build beliefs that match what you want out of life. To become the best version of yourself is to leave your own mark in this world.

Awareness

Once all of the past beliefs are broken, and we are more mindful and reflect on ourselves daily than we become more aware. More aware of how the world truly is, it isn’t all nice and rainbows and there is a lot of tragedy and suffering that goes on in the world. But when we are able to see that, we start to realize that it has always been that way. We become aware that it is part of our human nature and that all we can do to truly heal it is becoming the best version of ourselves. Treating others with love and compassionate, because we all have different background stories. We all grew up different, although some have it better than others, we still feel the same emotions and suffer in this world. The only way to get out of that suffering and know how to truly handle it is being awaken whether it is letting the Holy Spirit inside of you, God, Spiritual awakening, We must get enlightened and see the world as it truly is so that we can make it a better place.

We must see the light and realize it has and will always be up to us to achieve and become the best person we can be in this world while our time is limited.
